Rays of Hope:

Event Description
Rays of hope is to navigate the lasers like beam of light while being surrounded by a web of laser beams. You must navigate carefully to cross different hurdles to achieve the high score and complete your mission.
  1. Participants from any branch or stream can participate in this event.
  2. Four participants are allowed in each team. Participants must register as a team.
  3. Participants must not possess any mirror or any other reflection friendly smooth materials during the event.
  4. No use of the internet (via PC or Mobiles) is allowed during the event.
  5. On-time availability of participants is a must. Schedule would be given in advance to every registered participant.
  6. Decisions taken by jury will be considered as “FINAL”.
  7. No material except pen or pencil is needed from participants during the event.
  8. Number of rounds in the event will be decided based on the entries and will be informed on the day of the event.

Round 1:

  1. Each team will get the same Laser gun and same number of mirrors.
  2. They have to make sure that the laser rays travel the longest distance with the help of given mirrors.
  3. There will be time limit, team has to do/complete the given task in that given time. The selected numbers of teams cover maximum distance will be qualified for the next round.
  4. Final decision will be taken by the event coordinators.

Round 2:

  1. In this round participants have to make different shapes given by the event coordinators/volunteers with the help of given Laser and Mirrors.
  2. Participants have to complete the task in given time and within the given attempts.
  3. The selected numbers of teams complete the task in given time and within the given attempts will be qualified for the next round.

Round 3: (Final Round)

  1. Participants have to play Real Maze.
  2. In this round only one person can play out of four.
  3. There will be only ONE chance for playing this round.
  4. Participants have to clear distance without touching/breaking laser rays.

Circuit O’ Tricks

Event Description
The event “Circuit O’ Tricks ” is based on the basic understanding and working skills of participants in the field of basic electrical and electronics engineering. The event involved theoretical as well as practical aspects based challenges. Different round for the event are as follows:
  1. The team size of 04 participants.
  2. All the necessary components will be provided.
  3. Students should have the knowledge of basic electrical and electronics engineering.
  4. Event consists of three rounds.
  5. Disqualification rules:
    • If any team fails to report at given time, the team will be disqualified.
    • The decision of the organizers in conduction of the event and declaring the results will be final. No queries in this regard will be entertained.
    • Misbehavior of any member may disqualify the entire team.

Round 1:

  1. This round is based on the implementation of simple electrical circuits within the stipulated time with given components to the team.

Round 2:

  1. R The short listed groups of First round are invited in second round to implement the task based on electrical circuit implementation. List of components are displayed to them. Few of the components are given to them and rest of the component must be selected by the team from given list.

Round 3: (Final Round)

  1. In final round the basic idea of implementation will be discussed with the teams. Then teams have to develop their circuits to implement the idea with available components.
