Event Description

Competitive engineering event in which teams are given a pile of junk and challenged to build a working machine or device within a specified time limit. The teams are typically composed of engineers, mechanics, or other individuals with technical expertise.

The Challenge typically involves a specific task or goal, such as building a vehicle that can travel a certain distance, creating a machine that can perform a specific function, or constructing a structure that can withstand a certain amount of weight. Teams are given a limited amount of time and resources to complete the task, and they must rely on their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise to succeed.

  1. Team size:

    Typically, teams are composed of only 4 members.

  2. Time limit:

    There is usually a specified time limit, such as there are particularly 3 parts, or we can say that there are total 3 models in other words we can also say that the competition is mainly divided into 3 phases and the timing list is mentioned below:

    • For the 1st model: we’ll give you 20 to 25 minutes.
    • For the 2nd model: we’ll give you 30 to 35 minutes.
    • For the 3rd model: we’ll give you 45 to 60 minutes.
  3. Junkyard materials:

    Teams are provided with a pile of junkyard materials, which may include all the parts such as may be wood, electronic items, and metal that are used in our model, and the types of things we’ll provide you.

  4. Safety:

    Safety rules are typically enforced, and teams must wear appropriate safety gear.

  5. Goal or objective:

    The competition usually has a specific goal or objective that the teams must achieve, if the teams are not performing well in the first and second rounds then the teams are not displaying in the next or last rounds. So, it is necessary to perform well in all rounds. Another thing is that the certificates are providing all the members that are participating in this competition.

  6. Winning criteria:

    • Functionality: The machine must be able to perform the designated task. For example, if the challenge is to build a machine that can launch a watermelon, the machine must be able to successfully launch the watermelon.
    • Creativity: The machine must be creative and innovative. The coordinators are looking for teams that think outside of the box and come up with unique solutions to the challenge.
    • Efficiency: The machine should be efficient and effective in its use of resources.
  7. Overall:

    The rules and conditions of a Junkyard Wars competition are designed to challenge teams to think creatively and use their technical skills to solve complex problems, while promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.

Auction

Event Description

Ultimately, the event name should convey the focus and excitement of the cricket auction while also incorporating a technology-inspired element. The auction will be of international cricket. Each cricketer will be given some credit that will unknown to the participant.

In the second round, there will be a cricket match with another participant. And the winner will be selected from credit points and their match score.

  1. Whoever spends more than the given money, they are disqualified from the game.
  2. Team made from the auction list should be of 8 players.
  3. Mobile is not allowed.

    Round 1: Auction round

    1. Each team must select 2 batsmen, 2 bowlers, and 1 wicketkeeper.
    2. The remaining player can be of the participant's choice,with a total team size of 8 players selected from the auction list.
    3. The credit of each player will be determined based on their career statistics, including runs, wickets, and maiden overs.

    Round 2:Cricket match

    1. Each player will be given a credit point before the match based on their career statistics.
    2. The cricket match between participants will consist of 3 overs.
    3. Under-arm bowling will be compulsory.
    4. Full toss deliveries will be considered as no-balls.
  1. Overall:

    The winner will be selected based on the total credit points earned by the selected players and the score earned by the team during the cricket match.

Auto Mania

Event Description
The Auto Mania event consists of multiple rounds and is a team-based competition. In the first round, participants receive automobile-related problems or quizzes, which they must solve within a specified time. The groups that complete the tasks the quickest move on to the subsequent rounds. The subsequent rounds also involve automobile-related problems, and the participant groups must solve them within a set time limit.
  1. Eligibility: Any student from the college who is passionate about automobiles can participate in the Auto Mania event.
  2. Rules and Guidelines: It is mandatory for participants to follow all rules and guidelines established by the event organizers. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in disqualification.
  3. Change the rules: The event organizers reserve the right to modify the rules at any time during the event, and participants will be informed of any updates promptly.
  4. Time Limit: Participants must complete their work within the designated time limit for each round to advance further. The initial rounds will be limited to 30 minutes, while the further rounds will be limited to 45 minutes.
  5. Judging Criteria: Prior to the event, participants will receive clear instructions regarding the judging criteria to ensure a just competition.
  6. Use of Resources: Participants are not permitted to access any external resources during the event to maintain the competition's integrity.

It is an excellent opportunity for tech enthusiasts and knowledge lovers to put their skills to the test and compete with like-minded individuals.

Event Description

Nowadays, maintaining one's fitness has become essential due to everyone's busy schedule. With this in mind, we have organized an event called POWER HOUR, which is designed to cater to different fitness levels.

Participants will have to perform various exercises based on specific criteria within a set timeframe for each level. This event is an excellent opportunity for participants to challenge themselves physically and maintain their fitness goals despite their hectic schedules.

  1. Every participant and player should have their own responsibility for self-health and safety. Institute will not be responsible if any health situation occurs.
  2. Body posture and form during the performance should be in the correct form.
  3. Exercise and performance should be completed at a given time.
  4. Decision of the faculty and coordinator of a particular game is fixed and cannot be changed under any circumstances.
    • Winning Criteria:
      1. Participants must complete each level according to the given criteria and within the specified time limit.
      2. To qualify for the next level, participants must successfully complete the present level according to its terms and conditions.
      3. The rules and criteria for each level may vary based on the situation.
      4. Every participant will receive a certificate of participation as recognition for their efforts.
